How sign-up works

Becoming an instructor on Walanda follows the same secure registration flow as every other role — you'll walk through the steps below and your account lands in the verification queue. The Walanda User Admin reviews your qualifications + certificates before your published courses can reach learners.

  1. Identity & security. First name, last name, email or phone, and a password. Same fields every Walanda account needs.
  2. Highest education level. Pick the credential that represents your strongest qualification — Certificate, Diploma, Degree, Master's, or PhD. This drives which subject catalogues you can teach in.
  3. Affiliation: Private (pre-selected). You'll publish independently on the Walanda Course Platform — no school or university gatekeeping. To teach inside a tenant instead, ask that school's admin to invite you.
  4. Personal info. Name on certificates, country, city, date of birth.
  5. Qualifications & subjects. Add every qualification you hold; for each one pick the subjects you're qualified to teach under it. Upload a PDF / image of the certificate per qualification.
  6. Submit & await verification. Your account is created immediately but stays unverified. You can sign in, set up your profile, and draft courses while admin reviews — publishing is gated until approval lands.
